[How to] How to Create a new page…

First and foremost you should know that if you waver between two possibilities, you can use the nearby section, called Crash-Test , specially provided.

Yet don’t panic since you will use an intuitive tool to create an article and anyway all new pages are saved in “draft” mode. Only you, or the administrator, may decide to publish them when everything is quite ready.

 These pages will be in “draft” mode, and therefore invisible to simple visitors. You have to be granted access to see them in your own section; they are marked with a crossed out red circle symbolising the pages which have not been published.

To add some contents (or to create a new page, see les raccourcis), to mofify it , go to this page, choose modify on the top page toolbar menu. All this is possible only if you have the granted rights to create new pages in certain sections or the right to modify existing pages.  Fill in the title and the introduction boxes carefully, they will be visible from the homepage. Then write down your article. Don’t forget to save it. Take care over you work’s presentation, the whole contents of the articles is indexed to make visitors’ browsing easier.

Then the only thing left will be to publish your page by activating the link publish in the top page toolbar so that it might be visible to visitors.

All the options that you make use of -like adding  pictures to make a gallery, visual rendering options, restricted access to certain member status and also the printing functions or anonymous comments deactivation- will be detailed later on…
